William Broman is a law clerk focusing on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.
Prior to joining Bejin Bieneman, Will worked for Terumo Cardiovascular as a product development engineer. At Terumo he led project teams in development of new products and obsolescence remediation for the heart lung machine and cardiovascular surgery. He has significant experience developing products in accordance with FDA and international regulations, particularly 21 CFR 820.30. Will gained product development and manufacturing experience prior to Terumo as an engineer for a family-owned automotive supplier and injection molder.
Will hopes to focus his practice on the automotive, medical device, life sciences, sailing, and thoroughbred racing industries. He is also involved with community organizations on Detroit’s east side and hopes to provide pro-bono criminal defense services to reach young people and end gang violence.
Will is currently a law student at Wayne State University (J.D. expected 2021) and a member of the Wayne Law Review. He graduated from George Washington University (B.S. Biomedical Engineering, 2014) where he was a collegiate-athlete for the Colonials. He is a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Detroit.
