Stephen J. Kontos provides patent prosecution and patent litigation services, including inter partes review (IPR) and post-grant review (PGR).
Stephen's representative experience includes drafting and prosecuting automotive electronic and computer patent applications, drafting and prosecuting patent applications for a large telecommunications company, and defending a consumer electronics company in litigation against a non-practicing entity.
Stephen is a graduate of Wayne State Law School (J.D., 2008) and University of Detroit Mercy College of Engineering (Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, 2003).
Stephen is currently serving as the Chair of the AIPLA Patent Law §112 Subcomcommittee and participates in the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court. He also regularly contributes to The B2 Intellectual Property Report (www.b2ipreport.com).
