Charles Bieneman To Moderate Panel at AIPLA Annual Meeting

Southfield, MI (October 22, 2018) – Charles Bieneman, member of Bejin Bieneman, PLC, will moderate a plenary session of this year’s AIPLA annual meeting covering The Nonobviousness of Obvious-ness: Best Practices for Overcoming Obvious Rejections.

Every year the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) puts on an annual three-day conference for lawyers in private and corporate practice, in government service, and in the academic community, as well as patent agents and other IP law professionals looking to maximize their skills.

The panel will provide practical tips and tricks for combating patent examiners’ obviousness rejections. Topics will include combining references under the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2007 decision in KSR v. Teleflex, secondary considerations of non-obviousness, and inherency.

The AIPLA annual meeting will take place at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC and will run from October 25th to October 27th.  Mr. Bieneman’s panel will make its presentation on October 26.
