Tyson has nearly a decade of intellectual property experience, and his intellectual property law practice is devoted to the management, the procurement, and the protection of patent rights. Tyson has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the areas of: integrated circuit technologies, semiconductor device fabrication, software, hardware, e-commerce, telecommunications, medical devices, and the mechanical arts. He has also assisted multiple startups in obtaining patent protection for their core technology. Tyson has also drafted multiple claim sets that have withstood scrutiny during Inter Partes Review proceedings (referred to by many as “death squads that kill property rights.”).
